DDS Function Generator.
This function generator uses an AD9834 DDS ( more about DDS here) chip controlled by a PIC 16F876l. Frequency ranges from 0.01 Hz to 4 MHz with a 0.01 Hz resolution. Sinusoidal, triangle and square waveforms are available. (more informations)
Audio Frequency Two-Tone Generator.
This is a two-tone generator used for IMD measurements of SSB transmitters signals. The level of each tone is adjustable and the output level of the composite signal is controlled by a step attenuator and a fine control. In order to mitigate any spurious 50 Hz, the power supply is located in a remote box (more informations)
Dual Radio Frequency Generator.
IMD receiver measurements are conducted by means of this dual frequency RF generator. It contains two crystals controlled high purity oscillators working in the 14 MHz band : their frequencies are separated by 20 kHz (more info) .
An external home made hybrid combiner can be connected to the two outputs of this generator.
Step Attenuator.
This is a home made 0-70 dB attenuator usable from DC to 400 MHz (-3 dB) (click here for more info )
Voltage Controlled Attenuator.
This attenuator is a voltage controlled one : driven by a pulse generator, it is very useful for adjustment of the time response of the receiver's AGC (more info) .
Micro Powermeter.
The Analog Devices AD8307 is the heart of this RF/VHF power meter : designed from ideas presented by several authors (Hayward, Bolch,...) it allows low level measurements up to the VHF bands.
